Try these 2 simple tests on any other magnetic product to
see if it is good for your health.

Hold
the magnet up to your refrigerator or other steel
surface. If the magnet sticks to the refrigerator, it is
not as good for your health as it should be.

Have
someone hold the mattress or magnetic product in an
upright position. On the side of the mattress that will
touch your body, hold a compass up to the mattress. Now
move the compass all around the mattress. If the
compass does much directional changing, it is not as
healthful of a magnetic product as it should be.
What do
these tests show?
A good magnet will consistently and uniformly add to the
earth's magnetic field to enhance that field to a more
healthful level. If there are conflicting directions of
magnetic field -- adding, subtracting, and reversing the
magnetic field -- then the magnet is not as good for your
health as it should be.
In the first test, any magnet that sticks to the
refrigerator must either have varying directions of
magnetic flow, or an extremely high magnetic strength,
either of which will cause it to adhere. Just as a piece
of velcro will stick because of the loops, so the various
directions of magnetic field causes the magnet to stick.
For a refrigerator decoration this is good, but for the
best health benefit, a magnet should have a uni-directional,
consistent flow. Similarly, if the magnet adheres due to
its high gauss (strength), it is not as healthy for the
body as a gentle magnet would be. A good magnet gently
bathes the entire body with an enhanced magnetic field.
Similarly, the second test shows the various directions in
which the magnetic field is flowing. At some points on the
mattress, there is the health benefit of an increased
magnetic field. However, at other points on the mattress,
which will be in contact with some parts of your body, the
magnetic field is decreased even more than its current low
level, which scientists and health experts believe is
unhealthy for the body. At some points the magnetic field
is even reversed. As you can see, at these points the
magnet is not healthy for your body. In contrast, a good
magnet will gently nourish every one of the trillions of
cells in your body.
