2.) Is magnetic therapy safe?
Yes! People have been using magnetism for healing in various parts of the world for thousands of years with no side effects. Magnetism is a natural part of the world in which we live, and is necessary for plant, animal, and human life to exist. Since the earth’s natural magnetic field has decayed over time, we need to enhance the earth’s magnetism to bring it back up to a healthy level in our bodies. Back to questions.
3.) How is your MagnaSleeper different from other companies’ magnetic mattress pads?
Other companies use very strong magnets, hundreds of times stronger than necessary, in an effort to force some of the magnetism to flow through the body. At times other companies even use magnets in excess of 1000 gauss! The earth’s magnetism is now less that ½ gauss, and scientists calculate that it was once about 5 gauss. So you can see that a gentler magnetic apparatus is needed. Also, because the magnets are attracted to each other, the magnetism short-circuits itself before getting where it needs to be. The part of the body closest to the magnet receives extremely high doses, but the rest of the body receives relatively small amounts. In contrast, the MagnaSleeper sends a gentle magnetic flow upward through the mattress and through your entire body, refreshing every cell in a more uniform manner. Back to questions.

You are right that the earth is contaminated with harmful AC magnetic fields, which are generated by power lines, electronic devices, and appliances. These unnatural AC (alternating current) magnetic fields promote cancer and interfere with our bodies’ natural cell communication. In contrast, the MagnaSleeper generates a DC (direct current) magnetic field, which gently enhances the earth’s natural life-giving magnetic field. The MagnaSleeper, by providing a uni-directional DC field, can help to overcome some of the harmful effects of the harmful, cancer-promoting AC fields generated by power lines, electronic devices, and appliances. We do not recommend using the MagnaSleeper on part of the bed, since the area that is not covered by the magnetic pad is in the return path of the magnetism. Our bodies need an enhanced magnetic field, not a decreasing or reversed magnetic field. Back to questions.

8.) What does the MagnaSleeper look like?
Surprisingly, the MagnaSleeper looks like a huge refrigerator magnet. However, it will not stick to your refrigerator. A little magnet that you stick on the door of your refrigerator has hundreds of looping permanent magnets, which generate multiple magnetic fields. This causes the magnet to stick to the refrigerator, similar to the way Velcro has loops that cause it to stick to the fuzzy surface. The refrigerator magnet is good for putting advertisements and reminders on the refrigerator, but it is not healthy for the body. If you lifted the MagnaSleeper up to the refrigerator, it would not stick. This is due to the unique patented design that causes the magnetic field to flow in one direction—up through the body to bathe every cell of your body with an enhanced magnetic field. We do recommend that if you use it with a caged animal, such as a gerbil, that you place the MagnaPetPad UNDER the cage to prevent the animal from chewing holes in it. 14.) Have there been any clinical studies showing the safety and effectiveness of magnetism?
Yes! The most famous studies are the study conducted at Virginia University by Alan P. Alfano, M.D. to test the effectiveness of a magnetic sleep pad in individuals with fibromyalgia, and the study conducted at Baylor University in Houston, Texas by Dr. Carlos Vallbona to study the effectiveness of magnetic therapy in neuropathic pain and tingling in the feet. There have not been numerous studies because magnets are already considered to be safe, they are not funded by large pharmaceutical companies, they are not yet considered to be part of the mainstream medical field in most geographic areas, and magnets are not medical devices. However, the studies which have been done point to magnets’ safety and effectiveness. It should be noted that our new, patented magnetic design is superior to the older standard magnetic design that has been used in these studies. So we can expect even greater results.
Of course, the best test for magnets is not the studies that have been done in an artificial environment by a selected group of individuals, but the test of “does it work for me?”
